Style Story: My Easy Travel Style, Near or Far

FullSizeRender.jpg

January is the Monday of 2018 and killing it is the one and only option. There's absolutely no time to half-ass anything or wait to make a move. Mind is always over the matter. Stop procrastinating. Word harder than the year before. Do something new for the first time. Book flights to dream destinations. Catch flights, not an attitude. Focus on your health and what makes you happy. Cultivate self-love so you can genuinely love others.

This month has been off to an incredible start. Miami then New York City and currently The Bahamas in a matter of days. It's a privilege to be able to travel this much already and I don't take any second of it for granted. This year has already taught me that it's only impossible until it's done. So do it. Do it all, unapologetically. The second you start living for yourself instead of others is the same second you start to feel more alive.

So hit the ground running.

Style Story: New York City Avant Winter

FullSizeRender.jpg

I was scrolling through my camera roll and rediscovered a favorite when the weather permitted outfit outtakes. Since I've been living in Uniqlo heat techs and sweats most of winter, I thought I would share this outfit in a post.

It was late October. It felt more like mid-September though. The air was crisp, snow was non-existent. The only thing that hit the ground at every turn were falling leaves. The sun lit up pass 6 and didn't set until 8. You close your eyes, lift your face against the sun and instantly feel relaxed. It seemed as if time was a concept that simply did not exist. The hours and days felt endless. It can go on and on forever. You can do anything and everything. Meeting friends uptown to grabbing drinks downtown was a breeze. Life, in general, just felt more care-free and at ease. While we wait out two more of the coldest months of the year, I'll relive my fashion favorites through my camera roll and share it with you. And before we know it, it will be spring!

Just Another Tuesday

Some might call today Valentine's Day, Single Awareness Day, Another Hallmark Holiday, February 14th

And some might call it as I would call it:

Just Another Tuesday.

I think today is such an arbitrary day. I've never been a fan of it.

People are forced to be affectionate and somehow expectations are so high. People are made aware of how single they are. Flowers and chocolates are double the price. Dinner reservations are hard to find. As cliché as it sounds, I do think we should be loving and grateful every single damn day without any excuse of a calendar reminding us to do so.

Today is just another Tuesday and Day Six(?) of New York Fashion Week for me.

I woke up and selfishly decided to skip all of the shows I got invited to for the simple fact that in between all of the fashion mania, I felt myself needing a little me time. He went to work and after sleeping in, I spent my day in comfy clothes, a hair bun with no make-up drafting email responses, editing photos and blog posts on Street Style Teller.
He brought me home my favorite Java Chip Frappuccino (which stayed the price that it always is) and he told me I'm not ugly and that he loves me a lot.

Happiest Tuesday to you guys too!
