When Life Imitates Art | The Met Store at The Met Museum

There are many ways life has imitated art for me that demanded a longer look, more thought, more appreciation, acceptance and the kind that required a nod and a step forward. It’s as small as the first time I saw my mother cook my favorite meal or the first time I saw my dad fix a flat tire. It’s as grand as seeing the world from the sky for the first time or experiencing my very first heart break. Or finally knowing what love really is like. Life is a feeling process. Art is a feeling process. Living gives life more meaning in a similar way a piece art does in a museum.

I’ve partnered up with The Metropolitan Museum of Art to imitate art in real life with the help of their beautiful Byzantine Circle Necklace and Drop Earrings Set from their Byzantine Gems Collection at The Met Store.
